There is a 50.00 sign up fee. Membership includes a Cougar Vineyard and Winery logo dog bandana, a limted bottle of our exclusive 2016 Reserve Barkbera and admission to our Cougar Vineyard and Winery “Yappy Hour” events.

You have your choice of the following 4 or 6 bottle wine clubs to choose from:

All of our wine club members receive 4 complimentary wine tastings or glasses of wine daily (only one glass per person per day), up to a 35% discount on wine (depending on the club you are in), a 10% discount for Sangio’s Deli, and discounts on merchandise and shipping.

In addition to the K9 Yappy Hour events, members also receive invitations to wine club exclusive events and pick-up nights.

We got a new Winery Mascot and fur baby!

First it was Sandie and Diego, then Mocha and Monte, now….. it’s Cilie with assistant Mascot Willow who belongs to Jake our Assistant Winemaker!  Those are big paws to fill for sure.

They are both rescues and also Heinz 57’s.  Mostly Cattle Dogs with Cilie: German Shepherd, Dobermen Pincher, Boxer, Chow-chow, + more.

Here is a picture of (from the left) Willow, Jake – Assistant Winemaker, and (drum roll…) CILIE.  Cilie is pronounced like Chilli and is short for grape Ciliegilio.  He hears his name alot when it’s brisk outside 🙂  They were both adopted February 2021 from Tragic to Magic rescue saving the dogs from the streets of Tijuana.


Our current hours of operation are 11 to 6 PM daily for the tasting room and deli  
Masks are recommended but we are not requiring, the option is up to the guest.  We do ask that our guests maintain a 6′ spacing between their group and others.
At this time we are open like it was before: wine tastings, deli orders, bottle and wine by the glass sales. 
We are now able to offer wine tasting.  However, you may not be able to stand at the bar and taste, as space is very limited.  If the bar is full, you must get a taste and then be seated and go back to the bar when you are ready for your next taste. 
This means, that you still need a reservation, as there may not be space to walk in and do a tasting at the bar. 
Also, if you make a reservation you can request your preferred seating.  You can make a special request on OpenTable for indoor or outdoor seating and even request a specific table if you have a favorite.
