All Cougar K-9 Club Members must:

Be current on Rabies, Distemper, Parvo and Bordetella vaccinations; be in general good health and free of ticks and fleas; be non-aggressive towards other dogs and people; meet all municipal and state licenses and other requirements; have a collar that contains an identification tag bearing the Member’s name and guardian or owner’s current contact information; and, be leashed at all times.

Personal Property

Cougar Vineyard and Winery (CVW) will not be liable for any lost, stolen or damaged personal property belonging either to you or your K-9. If your K-9 causes any personal property damage to the winery, another K-9, or person, you will be liable for the full cost of all treatment, repairs and replacements.

Fees

Full payment is due at the time you initially sign up for the Cougar K-9 Club. The price may change yearly.

Aggressive Dogs

Although CVW loves all dogs, your K-9 cannot be aggressive, must be well-behaved and leashed at all times. Your K-9 may be asked not to return to CVW if he/she exhibits aggressive or other unacceptable behavior. Such determinations will be made at the sole discretion of CVW.

Leashes

No K-9 may be left unattended or unleashed. If your K-9 becomes loose from your leash, it is your responsibility to regain possession of your pet.

Duty to Disclose

You must disclose any and all medical or other conditions, including but not limited to personality concerns or behavioral incidents that in CVW’s sole discretion, may affect, limit or prevent your K-9‘s ability to participate in the K-9 Club or any activities/events thereby included.

Acceptance and Acknowledgment of Risk

You fully understand that: (a) there are inherent and potential risks involved with interactions between humans and dogs, as well as between dogs and other dogs, which may result in property damage or bodily injury, including but not limited to, permanent disability, sickness or death to human or dog; and (b) there may be other risks not known to you or CVW, nor readily foreseeable at this time (collectively, “risks”). You fully accept and assume all risks and responsibility for all risks, including, without limitation, all losses, costs and damages incurred as a result of your K-9‘s participation at CVW, including any veterinarian/physician expenses incurred on behalf of or caused by your K-9. “Sickness” includes any illness not limited to bordetella (kennel cough), bloat, or any other form of contagious disease.
